Upcoming conferences

On June 10-12, 2008, the Second International Conference of the Swedish Association for Language and Cognition (SALC) will take place at Stockholm University. The plenary speakers will be Elizabeth C. Traugott, Maria Koptjevskaja-Tamm, Niclas Abrahamsson, and Daniel Casasanto.

Past conferences

On Nov 29-Dec 1, 2007, the first conference of the Swedish Association for Language and Cognition (SALC) took place at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University. The plenary speakers were Susan Goldin-Meadow, Esa Itkonen, Chris Sinha, Östen Dahl, and Peter Gärdenfors.

On June 15-17, 2006, an International Conference and Constituting Meeting of the Swedish Association for Language and Cognition, originally called the Swedish Cognitive Linguistics Association, was held at Umeå University, Sweden.
