Past conferencesThe Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Association Conference 2008 (SCLC-2008) was held on May 29, 2008, in conjunction with the Cognitive and Functional Perspectives on Dynamic Tendencies in Languages conference of the Estonian Cognitive Linguistics Association (ECLA) in Tartu, Estonia (May 29-June 1, 2008). (For information on the ECLA conference see the ECLA website.) Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Association Conference 2007 (SCLC-2007), University of Chicago, Oct. 12-14, 2007. SCLC-2006 took place in the form of theme sessions at the Society for Slavic Linguistics 1st Annual Conference, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. SCLC-2005 took place at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. SCLC-2004 was a joint conference held along with the conference Perspectives on Slavistics at the University of Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. (There was no 2003 conference.) SCLC-2002 was held in conjunction with the meeting of the Finnish Cognitive Linguistics Association (FiCLA) meeting at the University of Turku in Turku, Finland, September 13-15, 2002. SCLC-2001 was held at the University of Virginia in Charleston, Virginia. The first Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Conference (SCLC-2000) was held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Autumn 2000.
