created the conditions for a successful and pleasant ICLC11 at the
campus of Xi'an International Studies University in Xi'an, China.

ICLC12 will take place in 2013 in Canada in Edmonton, Alberta, with
organizers
Sally Rice and John Newman. ICLC13
will take place in the UK at the University of Northumbria,
Newcastle.
Two new ICLA affiliates were approved at the conference: The Estonian
Cognitive Linguistics Association (ECLA) and the Norwegian Cognitive
Linguistics Association (NORKOG). We anticipate that conferences and
workshops will be held by the new affiliates as Cognitive Linguistics
continues to strengthen as a field in their respective countries.
The minutes of the Board and Business Meetings at ICLC11 will be on
the ICLA website (www.cogling.org) in the near future.
