ICLC ConferencesUpcoming ICLC conferenceICLC 11 will be held at the University of California at Berkeley, California, U.S.A., July 28-August 3, 2009. The conference is held in conjunction with the Linguistic Society of America Institute. Eve Sweetser is the organizer (contact: sweetser AT cogsci.berkeley.edu). Theme session proposals due Sept. 15, 2008. General session information coming soon. Past conferencesICLC 10 took place in Krakow, Poland, 15-20 July, 2007. It was the first "Jubilee Meeting", celebrating ICLA and Cognitive Linguistics organizational and publication milestones that occurred in 1987-1988 (see Cognitive Linguistics Historical Background). The organizing committee was headed by Prof. Elzbieta Tabakowska, of the University of Krakow, assisted by members of the Polish Cognitive Linguistics Association.
